Where's Paul?
You notice how we ain't heard nothing about DA BAGS in months? Doesn't it stand to reason that if Mr. Vickers truly believed he was owed millions of dollars, he would have filed suit in state or federal court to recover it by now?

Charorge, what's your take? Why won't you share what you know with the public?

SL Gets Piece Of The Hornets
Sout' Lafourche Business Titan Gary Chouest and his family have acquired a 25% interest in the New Orleans Hornet National Basketball Association team, inside sources tell TPRTK.

Rumor has it Gary is pushing to change the name of the team to the New Orleans/South Lafourche Hornets. No games have yet been announced at South Lafourche gym. Stay tuned for further developments.

Further, rumors that Gary has offered $5.3 million for a 30 day rental of this blog are of speculative veracity.
Dear Mr. Anonymous Letter Writer,
I am in receipt of your three most recent lovely and interesting anonymous screeds. However, the one I find the most interesting, you know, the insurance fraud/detox one, I can't use without more information. Was it a private employer in the community for whom X & Y are not employees who placed X & Y on the policy? Could you give us a time frame? What was the facility? Did X & Y actually obtain services from the facility? When? What is the name of the insurance company?

Update: More questions. Was the facility in Dallas or Virginia? If X & Y obtained treatment, how long was the stay in the facility? Was it within the last 12 months?

Your humble(camp) servant,

Carl A. Chauvin
PAUVRE WILL RESIGNS AND COPS PLEA!?!?
AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! WILLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Charorge have y'all heard our boy Iberia Parish President Will Langlinais resigned and pled GUILTY to "malfeasance in office and agreed to pay $50,000 restitution to the parish. He faces up to five years in prison at a sentencing hearing set for Aug. 2"? Choo, dat's nex' week, may! Dat's fas' for a sentencing, non?

Pauvre Will. You tink he will get malfeasance in orifice now?

"The factual basis of Langlinais' plea alleged that:

From June 2002 through August 2005, the parish provided drainage pipe, culverts and catch basins to residents free of charge at taxpayers' expense.

From Jan. 1, 2000 to April 1, 2006, Langlinais was reimbursed for travel, lodging and other expenses to which he was not entitled.

Langlinais entered contracts and agreements with third parties without the knowledge of the Iberia Parish Council.

Langlinais attempted to improperly influence the statements of others during an investigation by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor."

Pooh Yay Yay! Don't worry Charorge dat y'all done more worse den dat, non. Y'all still immune from prostitution for nuting. Right, Cam?

On second thought, now maybe y'all should start drinking extra heavy.

She Just Doesn't Get It!!
Lafourche Parish President Charlotte Randolph made an appearance on the Bob Mitchell Show on WWL radio tonight, ostensibly to talk about the baggy pants ordinance. In addition to tripping over the word "constitutional", twice, she kinda used alot of words, but didn't say anything. When her long-time supporter Jerry Lafont called in to announce his displeasure with the direction the Parish was going and how he had decided to relocate, all Charlotte could do was state that 3000 people had moved into the Parish in the last several years. Yeah, Charlotte, but most are unskilled Mexicans, no disrespect to Mexicans, not highly skilled professionals or successful businessmen like Mr. Lafont.

Charlotte was given every opportunity to talk about what SHE has done for Lafourche in the last 3 1/2 years and she came up empty. Instead, she went into cheerleader mode. Charlotte, we don't need a recruiter, we need a Parish President who has a grasp of what that job calls for - drainage, roads and bridges.

BTW, Charorge, when are y'all going to start the repairs to the Cote Blanche bridge?

Olbermann Rips Bush New Asshole
Last Night MSNBC commentator Keith Olbermann took issue, to put it lightly, with the Bush Administration sending the letter to Hillary Clinton admonishing her that talk about pulling out of Iraq gives the terrorists a propaganda coup. Vid at the bottom of the page. Boy be pissed.

The resignation watch begins!
Sean Hannity Calls For Vitter's Resignation
Conservative Fox News Commentator Sean Hannity called for Vitter's resignation last night. Here's the vid.
They're Back!
The purpose for the visit is unclear, but informed sources tell TPRTK that the Legislative Auditor made a repeat visit to the Lafourche Parish Council Finance Department within the last two weeks. One source claims it was to review cell phone records. Another claims it was to present the administration their report for comment.

Charorge? Can you shed any light on this?

Should Vitters Be Investigated For Child Abuse?
The Vitters used their children in campaign ads in 2004. Now they are concerned about the impact David's Penis Scandal will have on their children, with the media hounding the Vitters for answers. Since David will not resign and, thusly, will allow his children to continue to be exposed to attention, and derision from other children once they return to school, because of HIS unseemly past, shouldn't the Louisiana Department of Social Services investigate the Vitters for child abuse or neglect?

Article 502 of the Louisiana Children's Code defines "Abuse" as "any one of the following acts which seriously endanger the physical, mental, or emotional health and safety of the child:

(a) The infliction, attempted infliction, or, as a result of inadequate supervision, the allowance of the infliction or attempted infliction of physical or mental injury upon the child by a parent or any other person."

Here is the phone number for the Office of Community Services, Child Protection, in East Jeff: (504) 736-7033

Vitter on Cover of Hustler?

Here's the link.
Republicans Are Pissed With Vitter
Crouere and Rogers flame the whoremongerer for dissing Jindal. And the UNO College Republicans weigh in on the same issue and demand Vitter's resignation.

Question: Why are there College Republicans? Shouldn't they all be off in Iraq or Afganistan fighting terrorist?

"Based on his own personal writings, Sen. Vitter does not believe he is fit for continued service"
Excellent editorial about why Vitter should resign, raising alot of questions, appears in today's Shreveport Times.
Why David Vitter Must Resign
His believability is finished. He has been shown to be someone who claims to live by certain high moral standards, but actually lives something else in real life. He claims to be a family-values kind of guy, but resorts to prostitutes to fulfill his sexual needs. (Something this writer hasn't had to do since he was 18 years old.) He preaches abstinence, yet is promiscuous. He sponsors legislation to protect the sanctity of marriage, yet cheats on his wife. He panders to the evangelicals, yet engages in behavior they abhor.

After revealing himself to be a liar, a deceiver and a low-life, he can't very well return to preaching all those virtues he claims to have lived by, yet hasn't, at least, not unless its in a comedy act. He is no longer credible, unless he changes his stripes and becomes a tolerant liberal. And, this, his big shot controllers will never allow.

It's time, David, to go away.
Shreveport Times Blog
Problem With No Q&A
The Shreveport Times started a blog and they ain't happy with Vitter not taking questions.

See the comments. I love how Vitter apologists want this to go away. They don't want questions and answers.
How Long Can He Evade Questions?
David Vitter was back in DC, but hounded by the damned liberal press! They always have questions! But David continues to refuse to answer any questions.

New Orleans CityBusiness says the stonewall cannot stand.
More Reason From The Right!
Chad Rogers is my favorite Conservative. Here's his take on Vitter upstaging Jindal yesterday.

Denying his New Orleans dalliances with prostitutes raises the stakes. You know somebody is going to look more closely at that. Who's to say 5 prostitutes in New Orleans have less credibility than David Vitter at this time?

Vitters pursing lips. Is Wendy's choice of leopard skin print an attempt to inject some vitality into the Vitter intimate life?
Vitter On Abstinence

Do as I say, not as I do!
More Reaction To Vitter Statement
Here's a Shreveport Times article with some more reaction to Vitter's no-questions-answered "press conference" yesterday.

My question: Did you use a condom, David? ('Vitter pushed abstinence legislation that specifically condemned the use of condoms. He should tell us if he use condoms when he visited the hookers, or if he endanger his wife's health by not using one, as his legislation try to mandate for others." Bob from Dead Pelican poll comments)
The Pundits Weigh In On Vitter
The political "experts" are questioning whether Vitter did himself more harm than good in his speech yesterday.
Conservative "Christians" Call For Vitter's Resignation
Rev. Grant Storms, head of the Marrero-based "Christian Conservatives for Reform", has called for David Vitter's resignation. "When Bill Clinton fell...we said 'resign', when William Jefferson was indicted we said 'resign', now it's one of our people, and we need to be consistent and say, 'David, do the right thing and resign.'"
Jindal Dumps Vitter
LA Governor-want-to-be Bobby Jindal has removed an endorsement by disgraced and discredited, and, now, ineffective, LA US Senator David Vitter from his campaign website.
Welcome Aboard Bobby!
Boy wonder Bobby Jindal, announced his candidacy for Governor of the State of Louisiana yesterday. "Join me in a war on corruption. Join me in a war on incompetence. Join me in a war against out of control government spending." Jindal is quoted as saying.

Could you start in Lafourche, Bobby? Why don't you, Bobby, join ME on my war against corruption, incompetence, out of control government spending and prescription drug abuse in Lafourche Parish? Or are Republicans like Charlotte Randolph exempt?

LA GOP To Dump Vitter?
Some prominent Louisiana Republicans are talking about asking Vitter to resign.
Was Vitter Plamed?
Flynt/Bush Connection?
Conspiracy theorists at the Point a Saucisse are asking whether the Bush Administration gave Larry Flynt a heads-up on Vitter being in the DC Madam's phone book in retaliation for Vitter's opposition to Bush's immigration bill. There is precedent for this type payback. It should be recalled that the Bushies outed former CIA agent Valerie Plame because her husband, former Ambassador Joseph Wilson, raised questions in public about Bush's contention that Iraq was attempting to secure nuclear (or nuculear, as pronounced by W) material from Africa before Bush's war.
Dave Still Has Penis!!!!
Wendy has forgiven him
Randy Dave Saved By Da Bell!
The Times-Picayune answers my question about Mr. Self-Righteous being prosecuted for soliciting prostitutes. The statute of limitations has run on the offenses.

On a side note, ain't it time to decriminalize prostitution? Sex is beautiful, fun and relieves stress, my prudish friends. It ain't dirty! (OK, I admit imagining your parents doing it is a bit icky and frisson-raising!) Why is sex between two or more consenting adults with compensation exchanged illegal?

Wait! I Thought Democrats Were The Depraved & Immoral Ones!

The Daily Kos has an interesting hall of Republican hypocrisy.

Where is Mark Foley dese days?
Don't Forget Larry!
My favorite pervert Larry Flynt, whose investigation led to Vitter outing himself, claims he has 5 hos in New Orleans who claim to have serviced our randy Junior Senator, "family values" and "sanctity of marriage" champion and marriage-vow-breaker. Larry also makes some interesting observations on hypocrisy.

It ain't the sex, stupid! Its the hypocrisy!
Bravo, Chad!
The proprietor of the conservative blog The Dead Pelican and Baton Rouge talk show host, Chad Rogers, makes some interesting observations on the Vitter thang. Intellectual honesty from a conservative! Whodda thunk it?
WHEERRREE'S VITTTTEERRR?!?!
That evil left-leaning journal, the Washington Post, reports Vitter, Mr. Sanctimony to those of us to whom it matters, is MIA.

Is he trying to avoid arrest for soliciting prostitutes?

Tuesday, July 10, 2007

David, are you a hypocrite?

"I think Livingston's stepping down makes a very powerful argument that Clinton should resign as well and move beyond this mess," David Vitter said in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, December 20, 1998

"Although the Republicans claimed Clinton deserved impeachment because he lied about his sexual indiscretions, many Democrats felt the indiscretions themselves were the main issue. In response, Hustler Magazine publisher Larry Flynt placed an article in his magazine offering up to $1,000,000 for information on sexual indiscretions by Republican officials. Flynt received evidence that Livingston had strayed outside of his marriage and he was preparing to publish this information. Livingston got word that the article was pending. During debate over the impeachment resolution on December 19, 1998, Livingston surprised everyone by stepping down as Speaker-elect and announced he would resign from the House in May 1999. He was succeeded by David Vitter, who later went on to become the first popularly elected Republican senator from Louisiana. Vitter defeated Treen in a hard-fought special election runoff. In 2007, Vitter was revealed to have used escorts working for the D.C. Madam." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Livingston

And this ain't the first time for David and a prostitute: http://www.louisianaweekly.com/weekly/news/articlegate.pl?20040329m How many times are we supposed to forgive and forget?

Asked whether she could forgive her husband after an extramarital affair, as Livingston's wife had done, Wendy Vitter told the Times-Picayune: "I'm a lot more like Lorena Bobbitt than Hillary [Clinton]. If he does something like that, I'm walking away with one thing, and it's not alimony, trust me." http://www.abcnews.go.com/Politics/Story?id=3361462&page=1

How hard the sanctimonious fall!

And another thing, why has he not been charged with a crime? Johns violate the law too, not just Hos!!!
New Scandal?
Sources tell TPRTK information has been developed that will permit the revelation of another scandal within the next coupla days involving Charorge's Misadministration produced by Ray. Is it the one involving that big hole filled on private property in upper Larose we have hinted about on numerous prior occasions, but were unable to develop?

Promises! Promises! Shadowman. Show me pictures and paper.

Stay tuned!

Stupid George Tricks

George Randolph has this thing he does that may annoy some, but to me, as perverse as I am, I find infinitely amusing and cute, yet pathetic, at the same time. Whenever George sees me in public talking with someone or knows that I have spoken with someone out of his presense, he has a habit of telling the person afterwards something like "What are you talking to the likes of Carl Chauvin for?" or "Why are you hanging around with that asshole?". OK, what does this mean? First, George is opining that he is a somebody and I am nobody, or that he is credible and I am not. In other words, its the thing that will get them unelected - they think their shit don't stink. Second, he is insulting the person he is saying this to because he is inferentially (that means between the lines, George) telling the person with whom he is sharing his views he is a better judge of character than the person. Too bad you can't buy social graces in a box, George. Third, is it a not so subtle threat? You talk to or hang with Carl Chauvin and I can or will hurt you. Is that what it means, George? Earth to George: Everybody is laughing at you!!

By the way, George, when it comes to credibility, my composite credit score from the three reporting companies is 763. What's yours?

If anybody has their own favorite Stupid George Tricks, please share them. I imagine some of you Parish vendors have some stories that may not be as amusing. I know, I've heard some. "Remember how much work you are getting from the Parish." Word gets around, George. Word gets around.

Blanc-out Signs Ray Gen Bill Into Law
Lame duck Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanc-out signed the Loulan Pitre-sponsored Ray J. Cheramie Memorial Generator Bill into law on June 25. The law becomes effective August 15, 2007.

Charorge, why don't y'all just go ahead and scratch through the "in Baton Rouge" part of y'all campaign materials? Otherwise, I just might file a false advertising complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Y'all got 10 days.
