DA: A Bridge Is Not A Road
In an opinion dated March 13, 2007, Lafourche Parish DA Cam Morvant writes "[t]he word 'bridge' is not listed in the tax call. Therefore, it is the opinion of the District Attorney's Office that RSTD2 monies cannot be used to repair the Cote Blanche Bridge." (I think it should be "may not", not "cannot". But, I ain't no expert on grammar, me. Other than that little quibble, I have NO problem with that opinion. In fact, you may have already read it on this blog.)
