She has never apologized for her sins in this matter. She looked like she was about to cry during her comment at the Parish Council meeting in which she attempted to say that she protected the people. I think she meant the cows.
It's a damn shame. She wanted to pay the full amount too.Time for her to go!

Wait, you mean that she blew the whole $40 Million Dollars SURPLUS (from the former Council) by August 2005 (within One Year and 8 Months)?
- On top of the $40+ Million Budget for Year One, AND the $45+? Million for Budget Year Two?
- Why didn't we have $650,000 to Purchase DA BAGS?
- Another question we will probably never get an answer to.
FEMA WOULD HAVE PAID MOST OR ALL OF THE $600K TO BUY THE BAGS SO WHY RENT??? THEN WE WOULD OWN THEM!!! WHY LET THE BAGS SIT FOR 30 DAYS??? TO RUN UP THE BILL??? WHY LEAVE 398 BAGS IN THE TRUCK FOR 30 DAYS????

If you buy DA-BAGS, You can't rent them for every tropical "EVENT" from Mr. V. like other Parishes have been doing for several years. Don't Worry Be Happy. FEMA pays.
