DA BAGS Scam Settled?!?!
The Comet reports that the Council authorized settling DA BAGS scam for $3.5 million by a 6-2 vote. OK FBI, is this what y'all been waiting for in order to swoop in - money changing hands?
Y'all need to look at a few personal bank accounts for some unusual balance increases or additions of expensive personal property in a month or two. Know what I mean?

What has changed since the Feb/Mar. votes?
From $1.2 Million to $3.5 Million?
New Evidence?
Was it "shown" at the Meeting?
If not, what Are'nt we going to see?
Has'nt the Only thing that has happened since the last Offer / Rejection been that letters were written (by officials) asking (more) questions?

Just saw the taped Meeting.
The Answer to the Question whether any "New Evidence" was shown or presented at the Meeting is -- NO!
So upon No new Proof, the Council voted to Triple the Offer - from $1.2 to $3.5 Million!
The only thing that happened seems to be that Cam got a call that morning from U.S. Flood's Attorney saying that they would not accept "one Penny Less" than $3.5 Million.
So it seems the we are still left with the very prescient question: "What are'nt we going to see?"
how much will the lady who has the bags on her property gonna get? She should be able to charge the same rate as Vickers, 350 a day, for every day they are there......then she could donate the tubes to the parish
