Iberville grand jury indicts former White Castle Police Chief
Here's the story as reported today by The Advocate. The charges are theft by unauthorized use of an access card and malfeasance in office for using a public credit card to rent a car for personal use.

What about Lafourche Parish, Cam? Doesn't any of this stuff sound faintly familiar? Is it that much a leap between using a public credit card for renting a vehicle for personal use and using a public credit card for buying your husband plane tickets, meals and booze? If one is an indictable offense, ain't the other? Shouldn't you, at least, present it to a Lafourche Parish Grand Jury?

Please correct me if I'm wrong but if Cam doesn't do it and we elect another DA can't he do it or is there a time line. Also if Cam doesn't do it can't he possibly be charged with Malfeasance by not preforming his job and turning a blind eye. I know the burden would be to prove criminal intent but with him having the information and not acting on it I think that should stand for something. I'm going to E-mail my state Rep soon about a ton of junk and this is going to be in there.
