Colonel, Rev, Ph.d (sic) Fazio Gets Ink!
Although the Comet Editorial Staff felt compelled to limit my letter to the Editor on the Gonzales/Randolph/BAGS question to the Courier, where its intended audience would likely not read it, they give "Rev Colonel R Fazzio Ph.d" front page play for getting banned from the library. Perhaps the Comet editors should send their resumes to Entertainment Tonight or some other tabloid TV entertainment show where they could do stories on similar freaks like Britney, the défant blonde with the big you know whats (how easy we forget), the latest mass murderer, and Lindsay Lohan's DWI arrest.
BTW, here's a link for Universal Life Church Monastery, the "Church" where Fazzio was "instantly ordained". Apparently, you can also be ordained as a pagan and a wiccan there. (Wonder if they'd ordain one as Rock Star or Porn King or Elvis?)
Also,here's the discussion on the story in the Comet forums, where Fazzio gets skewered.
And I think it's Ph.D and they usually know how to spell. So much for respect-getting, right, Charlotte? And, and, even I could be Rev. Carl A. Chauvin, Esq., B.A., J.D., if respect-getting was something I was faintly concerned with? (Rev. Carl A. Chauvin, Ph.D, Church of Large Natural Bosoms. That has a nice ring, don't it?)

Where on earth did the Comet get the idea he was from Bourg? He lives at 114 Jackson St. Houma.
Maybe he wants to be from Bourg. Maybe its more prestigious sounding in his world. Maybe 8 out of 10 prominent paralegals with paying clients live in Bourg. Maybe the Comet doesn't adequately fact-check. Maybe he is trying to throw Communists, Terrorists and other subversives off his trail. Maybe that is where the spaceships are supposed to land.

I do know this colonel fazio person or his mom and that being said, I find it sad that people would rather attack him for what ever reason instead of looking at the real injustice here. No matter who the person is, our rights are here for everyone. I did not hear of anything bad said againest his 80 year old mom and her rights were violated too. Public Officals have access to legal advice and this lady chose not to use it and put this parish in a postion of liability for her actions. This lady should be fired, An appology from the library board may go a long way in settling this. Just an outside view of things
Very well argued. It is just that his critics, knowing his history, suspect that there is more than meets the eye in this story.
No doubt, Ms. Arabie mishandled this matter. I believe firing Ms. Arabie is a bit harsh. Probably an apology should be sufficient.
