Beach on Grand Isle
Is it that I have not been to the beach in the center of Grand Isle that long? Did Grand Isle pump sand? Or is it a positive effect of Katrina/Rita? The beach is HUGE in the center! I haven't seen the beach that wide since the 60s. You walk and you walk and you walk some more before you get to the water's edge. Grand Isle will never die! A Grand Isle native I do work for even road Katrina out down there. Those people are tough!
