Nero Fiddles While Rome Burns!

The AC in the courthouse annex in Thibodaux, which houses two divisions of court and the clerk of court's office, failed completely this week, after being on the fritz for the prior two weeks. This is but the latest failure by Charlotte Randolph's Adminstration to get the job done. Are the money problems being experienced by the Parish due to Charlotte's mismanagement, which she doesn't want you to know about, while trying to distract your attention away from the problem with photo ops, going to hamper the timely repair of the system? Without AC at this time of the year, the court system in this Parish will come to a grinding halt. Now Charlotte has all the Judges and Clerk of Court personnel, as well as a few attorneys and members of the Public attending court, miffed at her. Maybe this is a good time to file suit against the Parish.;)

(Note: A large portable AC unit on a trailer was installed either late Thursday or early Friday.)

A few less photo ops and a little more time spent at your desk would have made a big difference, Queen Charlotte. But now, it's too late.

To end on a positive note, the cattle grazing in all those pastures between Larose and Lockport are quite satisfied with all the millions of dollars of drainage provided by the Parish.
